Returning to practive information for phase one

Hello again

As we move into Phase one for lane county, I am preparing the office for opening next week. I have read through the county, state and federal guidelines and have developed new protocols for the office, with DR. Rob. Below are the new office guidelines.

New arrival protocol

Please plan to come alone to your visit at this time. We are asking that all clients remain in their cars until 3 minutes before their session. I will meet you at the office front door where I will take your temperature with a touchless thermometer. You will also be asked to sanitize your hands and wear a mask in the common area. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide one. Then we will go straight to the treatment room to begin intake. After your session, we will complete payments and scheduling from the treatment room as well.

If you have a fever or more than 100.3, you will be rescheduled for a later time.

Pre-treatment check-in.

The day before your session you will receive an email/ text with the following screening questions. This is required at this time. Please respond to it, as it confirms your session.

Client screening questions:

  • Have you had a cough and/or fever recently?

  • Have you come into contact with someone you know to have been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the past 21 days?

  • Have you had a sore throat, tickling throat sensation, or loss of smell?

Cancelation policy

All cancelation policies are currently suspended. If you come into contact with Covid, or are suddenly ill, there is absolutely no charge at this time. I ask that you text or email as soon as you need to cancel.

Payments

I am changing the square reader at this time so that signatures are not required. If you prefer a square invoice for your session, please let me know prior to your session.

Sanitization protocols.

You may notice changes around the office to accommodate the new safety and sanitization requirements from state, local and federal authorities. Here are some of the basic guidelines we are following:

  • FDA approved cleaners.

  • Sanitizing the treatment room after each session. (that has always been the case) It includes the chair, table, shelves, bottles, bolsters, table, face cradle, and any other surface that is worked with.

  • I have to change my clothes after every session and will be wearing a mask for the entire duration of a session.

  • The bathroom area is a public area, so the external door will remain open to avoid extra handle touching. Sanitizer wipes are available. We are cleaning the bathrooms two times a day minimum, as well as the area outside our office.  Please know these are common public areas, and despite our best efforts in cleaning, use caution.

  • Sheets and blankets will be changed and sealed after each session.

  • New air filtration systems are in place.

  • We have discontinued tea, water, and magazines until a later phase. Please bring your own water bottle with you if you need it.

  • All cloth chairs have been removed from the office. The front desk and waiting area will not be utilized at this time.

  • We (all practitioners in the office) are staggering our schedules to avoid being at the office at the same time and also checking our own temps daily, among many other self-care protocols, to ensure our own health is in check. I plan to open my schedule more as we move through the next phases.

I have greatly missed working with everyone and look forward to being back in practice. Thanks for your understanding and your willingness to work with me on these guidelines.
